This has been a very exciting week for our group – Sam, Tristan and Aly took a trip to the I19 beamline at Diamond, along with Sarah (Champness group) to explore lots of the single crystals that Sam and Tristan have been synthesising over the past few months. This was great, as it was Tristan’s first experiment at a central facility, and the first in-person group experiment in a long time. They collected a huge amount of data over the past few days, now onto the fun bit – analysing it all!
Jen also did an X-Ray experiment this week, on the ID22 beamline at ESRF. This was the first Clark group experiment at ESRF, Jen had a fantastic time and collected some awesome data for her work!
