Today, Jen gave a talk at the Polarised Neutron for Condensed Matter Investigations conference held virtually by NIST. This conference aims to connect the worlds scientists whose principle technique involves polarised neutrons, and this conference includes updates on instrumentation and science highlights from across the world. This year has been a great conference, with many interesting speakers and poster sessions. Jen gave her talk on her work on the two-dimensional spin glass system, Mn0.5Fe0.5PS3, which was relevant as Jen used the ILL’s diffuse scattering diffractometer, D7 to collect the majority of her data.
