On Thursday, Jen took part in the ILL’s annual clip show – where each student has 4 minutes to present an overview of their thesis. This year there was a total of 50 presentations, taking a marathon zoom session of 4.5 hours to complete! The clips are then judged by the ILL’s directors and head of the graduate school, Henry Fischer, and a winner from each year is chosen. We are super pleased to say that our own Jen won the prize for the second year presentations! It was definitely a girl power afternoon, with the other winners being first year, Wenke Muller and third year, Shelby Turner. Jen really enjoyed everyone’s clips, there’s lots of cool science going on at ILL!
