Graduation is a bit different this year, but the feeling of celebration is still in the air. We want to wish our Masters student Rory all the best after his hard work over the past year helping Kate with some new characterisation on the Barlowite analogues. Rory has decided to continue with a PhD at Liverpool, and in September will be joining Prof. Laurence Hardwick’s group at the Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy where he will be researching how vapour deposited coatings on cathode materials can be used to improve the lifetime and capacity of batteries.
