Neutron spectroscopy is an essential tool in identifying many of the exotic properties emerging within quantum magnets. Two of the of the most commonly used software for manipulating and analysing inelastic neutron scattering data are Horace and SpinW. As such, Aly attended the Horace and SpinW workshop which was held at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility. While there, Aly was particularly keen on developing his knowledge in Linear Spin Wave theory. Thanks to the efforts put by the organizers and Toby Perring, Manh Duc Le, and Simon Ward, the workshop was very successful in its goals as it was well organized. The social dinner hosted later in the week was also great fun.
