Sam Leaving

This week, we had to say goodbye to our groups first ever postdoc, Sam as he leaves us for his new job in the civil service. Over the past few years, Sam has been focused on our groups explorations into MOF materials, and their potential exfoliation down to nanolayer thickness. Sam has completed lots of great work during this time, including leading on this paper on Kagome MOFs published in Chemistry of Materials. We have a couple more things to tie up before we can reveal the rest of Sam’s work, so watch this space! Sam has also helped a lot with setting up the SQUID in the Midlands MagLab and taught the rest of us how to use it properly. Thank you Sam for all your hard work, we will miss you and good luck in your new job!
