This week, we had to say goodbye to postdoc, Sam as he leaves us for his new job as a senior data analyst in the UK Civil Service. Since 2020, Sam has been focused on our group’s explorations into MOF materials and their potential exfoliation down to nanolayer thickness. Sam has completed lots of great work during this time, including leading on this paper on Kagome MOFs published in Chemistry of Materials. Sam also played an active role in setting up the EPSRC Midlands MagLab, in particular training group members. Thank you Sam for all your hard work, we will miss you and good luck in your new job!
