We are delighted to receive a 2018 Research Grant from The Royal Society to support our new project, Elucidating the Role of Chemical Disorder in a Quantum Spin Liquid Candidate.
The Royal Society’s Research Grant Scheme provides funding to early-career academics for specialised equipment and consummables for new research projects. We are incredibly grateful to the Royal Society for the award, as it will significantly improve our research capabilities and allow us to explore a new facet of quantum materials research.
In addition, we are extremely pleased that Jennifer Graham – a 3rd-year MPhys student here in Liverpool – also won an EPSRC Vacation Bursary to join the group this summer to work alongside us on this project.
