Kate, Lewis and Lucy performed their first experiment as a group this week on the MuSR spectrometer at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source. It was a great experience to be working together as a team, and we were able to collect some interesting data that will form the basis of Lewis’ MChem project. We are especially grateful to Dr Gøran Nilsen for giving us a grand tour of the ISIS facilities and our instrument scientist, Dr Mark Telling, for showing us that, sometimes, science works!
