Fika is the Swedish way of saying a coffee break. We have been fika-ing for the past few years after Aly joined our group and brought the idea from his old group at Chalmers. In the past, Jen has mainly been responsible for providing the fika treats, however our new members, Sam and Tristan, have both made impressive fika debuts. Sam baked us some beautiful Nutella profiteroles, whilst Tristan baked us some yummy frustrated magnetism inspired cookies! Safe to say, with such excellent first bakes, the bar has been set high and we are looking forward to seeing what they create for future fikas!
