Topology Outreach at Green Man Festival

This week, Lizzie volunteered at Green Man Festival in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. As part of the EPSRC CDT in Topological Design Outreach and Public Engagement team, Lizzie developed and ran a science outreach stall teaching festival-goers about topology and its applications. Lizzie was really pleased with the engagement from visitors of all ages, and particularly enjoyed seeing the string art centrepiece evolve over the course of the festival.

A busy first day as festival-goers of all ages enjoy the variety of topology puzzles on offer at the stall.
